Q:
Will I be charged for waiting time?
A:

Our customers are privileged to free waiting time according to what type of car they have selected. Our operators checking all flights ETA's (for delays or earlier arrivals).

  • Sedans - receive 25 minutes free on domestic and 45 on international flights.
  • Limousines - receive 30 minutes free on domestic and 45 minutes free on international flights.
  • Vans - receive 30 minutes free on domestic and 45 minutes free on international flights.
  • Buses - time starts from the official ETA (estimated time of arrival)
  • A 25 minutes for domestic (45 minutes International) grace period is allowed following the reported flight arrival time for Inside Pickups only when Meet & Greet Service is requested.
    A ten 10 minute grace period is granted for all other pick-ups. Waiting time will be charged at 10 minute increments after the grace period for sedans. 
  • Additional waiting time belled in quarterly frequents based on the hourly rate.
Q:
How do I find my driver?
A:

Your uniformed driver (suite and tie) will be holding a sign containing your name, which will make it easier for you to find him. The meet and greet is a great way to be welcomed by our company and it is free of charge (most company's charge $25.00 extra for this service).
NEW YORK LIMO.COM Meet and Greet Airport Service is offered at no charge. However parking and waiting time charges (if incurred) will be billed to your account or credit card. The driver will be instructed to meet the passenger by the baggage claim or customs with a sign that has his or her last name on it, the driver will then escort the passenger to the designated car location (Assisting with the luggage). This package comes with a complimentary 25 minutes free for domestic flights and 45 minutes free for international flights from the adjusted arrival time.

What kind of cars?
A:

All of our cars are new models 2000-2003. Click Here to view cars.
Luxury Sedans are either Cadillac and Lincoln Town Car available in dark colors only.

Stretch Limousines 2003 models are only Lincoln town cars and available in black and white colors, also included in the limo is TV, VCR and CD Player. Fully Stack  Bar included with soft drinks and hard liquor.

Luxury Vans - for all airport pickups can accommodate up to 10 passengers plus their luggage. For sight seeing or other than airport transit, the vans can accommodate up to 14 passengers.

Buses - accommodate up to 50 passengers and approximately 100 pieces of luggage.

 

Q:
When will you charge my credit card?
A:
We only take an authorization on the card to guarantee funds availability, it will show as (Pending funds) if you check your credit card account statement on-line. The authorization amount is usually higher than the expected charges just incase if you decided to make some additional stops you did not inform us of or changed your destination .We will then only charge your card on the day of the ride after swiping the card in the vehicle and giving you a total of your charges. We request  your credit card information when you choose to pay cash as payment option . So we can charge your card if you did not show up or canceled after the mentioned cancellation grace period. Passengers are obligated to ask the driver for a receipt before leaving the car.

What if I am unable to arrive in time for a reservation "No Show"?
A:

ALL no shows will be charged full rate.
To avoid being charged you must:

  1. Call toll free 1-877-NYC-1212 or the phone # on your confirmation so that one of our dispatchers can get in touch with the driver and help you to locate each other.
  2. or email in the event your plans or flight have been changed.
Q:
How can I cancel and what is your Cancellation policy?
A:
All cancellations must be made within 48 hrs prior to your arrival. To avoid being charged you must cancel your reservation within 48 to 12 hours before service time. You must provide confirmation # for each reservation.

  • Email your cancellation 48 hours
  • Fax your cancellation 48 hours
  • Phone Cancellation 12 - 5 hours*
  • Bus cancellations 48 hours a must

* Cancellations by phone only weekdays bet. 10am-6pm

What is your "Service Guarantee"?
A:

After you have received your "Confirmation Number" from NewYorkTransportation.com, your car is guaranteed to be there waiting for you. (Reservation must be made at least 24 hour prior to the time of service and with a valid credit card.)

What is your hourly rates?
A:

Our rates are by the hour (BTH) also known as A/D (as directed).

  •  2 hrs minimum on weekdays (Mon-Thur)
  •  3 hrs minimum on weekends (Fri-Sun)
  •  5 hrs minimum any day if traveling outside of the 5 Boroughs
    * Buses at all times are 4 hrs minimum.
